Here is my recipe for homemade mosquito repellent. I bought my spray bottle from Tiger and it’s very small. That’s why the quantities are small. Essential oils can damage the plastic, that’s why glass and steel are better materials for them. Glass spray bottle would be ideal for this. That yellow stripe up there ism from the essential oils, that’s why you want to mix it up before use.
If you want a quick tip for the bugs, take two drops of peppermint, lemon, oregano or lime oil into your hands and swipe them quickly to your legs or arms. I’ve heard that it works. Don’t do that to your face or sensitive skin!
You will need:
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water (distilled water lasts longer)
little bit of vegetable glycerin or aloe vera gel (optional, you can buy it from pharmacy)
1/2 tea-spoon of vodka
40 drops of essential oils (you can use f.e. lemon, peppermint, oregano, rosemary, lime)
